The Tonin lighthouse was built by the Japanese in 1935. The lighthouse was arranged according to the same scheme with the Sakhalin lighthouses of the Karafuto period (1930-1940) - the round lighthouse tower is connected by corridors with auxiliary and living quarters. On beacons designed for long-term autonomy, a rainwater harvesting system was used for food and technical needs. On the roofs were arranged gutters, through which water, passing through the filters, collected in underground concrete tanks.
First the journey will be by car, to Osadchy base, then about 7 km we will walk along the seacoast, where after the storm you can find sea urchins, jellyfish, scallop shells.
A pleasant bonus for travelers will be the picturesque views opening from the precipitous shore, and the sound of the surf. Near the lighthouse is a peculiar relief of the seabed, giving birth to the wave even during relative calm. And if you're lucky, then on the water along the coast of travelers, the seals are connected.
After admiring the lighthouse, let's go explore three delightful waterfalls, which is three kilometers from the Lighthouse
